Haiku for Simba

I took the dogs for a nice 2 hour hike up Lower Pine trail today. We're all waiting for Michelle to return from a week in California this afternoon. Simba is coming along nicely as a hiking companion, although he still likes to stop in the middle of the trail right in front of me. I end up straddling him with a leg on either side as he usually does this where the path is very narrow and there's no room on either side of him. Here's a little haiku I for him while we walked:

He tickles my leg,

hot breath/whiskers on my calf;

floppy Simba boy.
