We all agreed that it was time for a nice hike. The Golden Open Space is about 30 minutes away and normally uncrowded. The 2 mile loop also has the advantage of being mostly in the sun, which means less mud this time of year. The pack got to chase a deer and generally enjoyed getting away from their usual hike near the house. Naps in the back seat for everyone on the way home.
